Changing the narrative structure

I have had to recently reevaluating my narrative structure from what was stated in my design document. instead of using facts to drive the plot I will use the characters.

Instead of doing each topic one-by-one i'm going to integrate different facts and topics when it is appropriate to the plot. Each chapter will be about a different family/person who is ill. It may be the plague or it might be a minor illness or injury but as the year progresses what ‘treatments’ may have worked before has seized to work anymore. 

The dark subject will be balanced by the relationships in the streets community but the closeness of people can make the plague spread quickly.

The conflict will be increased by the communities mistrust in the main character and the introduction of a traveling Plague doctor (con artist) tricking the communities into buying his ‘cures.
